Injustice: Gods Among Us Xbox Series S Review

Injustice: Gods Among Us Xbox Series S Review

Xbox Series S? You must be thinking I may have drunk a bit too much whiskey this past weekend when I wrote that title for the article. Well, a while back, for Xbox Gold Members, the game Injustice: Gods Among Us was available to download and play on my Xbox Series S! So, decided to make the jump and try out this game. I downloaded the game but it remained silent in my game library as I have been busy getting ready for conventions.

Today, on the 4th of July, I decided it was my American duty to play this game while still hungover from the drinks the night before. I have to say…WHY DID I TAKE SO LONG TO PLAY THIS GAME!? This game is fantastic and is like nothing I have ever experienced before. This is a mix of Mortal Kombat with the movie power of Warner Bros Animated Movies that they do for DC Comics! After I beat the game, I decided to sit down and do a review. When you have a chance, get this game and if does come back out for Xbox Gold members, be sure to get it! I will be buying a hard copy of this game for my Xbox 360 that is in my closet to add for my collection.

here is the review:

  • Story
    • The story reads straight from a comic book that you can find at your comic book shop! Before Batman could stop Joker from using a Nuclear Warhead, he and members of the Justice League are transported to a parallel world where the nuke had went off and created chaos. During that time, Superman became supreme leader, murdered Joker and ruled over the whole earth. The transported team are there to help bring order and stop Superman from murdering their own Batman. Pretty cool huh?!
  • Fighting
    • I am a huge fan of Mortal Kombat and the fighting style with the aggressive violence used in the game is just awesome! I felt like I was cape crusader handling his own hand of justice against foes like Joker, Harley Quinn, and others! You fight your way with various characters of the game in order to finally stop Superman and his team.
  • Mini Movie
    • After each success fight win, the story continued like straight out of a Warner Bros Home Entertainment and DC Animated movie. You watch watch happens next and sometimes, your taken right into the action against another character in the game. You fight your way to find out what happens next! Pretty damn cool!
