There is a specific kind of exhaustion that comes from screaming into a void that never screams back. It’s that heavy, silent weight that From Sheep To Wolves captures so perfectly in their new music video for “Rejection.”
Taken from their upcoming album Ephemeris (arriving February 27, 2026, via Wormholedeath), “Rejection” is a self-defense mechanism set to music. While the band is known for their signature blend of alternative metal and electronic pulses, this track leans into the “quiet-heavy”.
Watch the “Rejection” video here:
“Rejection” speaks to the feeling of being unheard and slowly worn down by a world that never seems to change. It touches on lost hope, generational frustration, and the need to protect your dreams by keeping them to yourself. It’s a restrained and honest song, built on endurance rather than anger.
From Sheep To Wolves started as a production project between Carlo Cranmer and John Castiel back in 2015, but their sound, ranging from crushing breakdowns to atmospheric beats, demanded a live stage. Following the intensity of their previous single “Submission,” “Rejection” proves that the band isn’t afraid to get vulnerable while keeping their sonic edge sharp.
Ephemeris is a journey through the highs and lows of the human spirit. If these first looks are any indication, we are in for one of the most honest metal releases of 2026.
