Indie-rock singer-songwriter Eliza McLamb is returning with her first new song of the year with “Quitting,” a tongue-in-cheek, pulsing guitar track produced by Sarah Tudzin. McLamb elaborates on its meaning, “‘Quitting’ is about doing bad things that are good for you. Or good things that are bad for you. Or getting confused about what’s good and what’s bad and just doing what you want.”

The song was recorded with a stacked legion of musicians including Jacob Blizard (Lucy Dacus) on guitar, Jason McGerr of Death Cab for Cutie on drums, and Sarah Goldstone (Chappell Roan, Boygenius, Hurray for the Riff Raff) on keys.

“Quitting” follows the success of McLamb’s debut record, Going Through It. Produced, engineered and mixed also by Sarah Tudzin, (illuminati hotties, boygenius), the album is a deep dive into the waters of adolescence. Before Going Through It, she recorded two EPs, leading her to land an opening slot on illuminati hotties’ tour and a contract with Royal Mountain Records.
