Nickelodeon and Paramount+ are inviting kids and families into a majestic mermaid world with everyone’s favorite explorer, Dora, in the global cinema event, DORA: Magic Mermaid Adventures. Continuing the 25th anniversary celebration of the iconic franchise, the special cinema-exclusive experience will feature four brand-new never-before-seen mermaid-themed adventures and a bonus birthday episode of Paramount+’s original hit animated series DORA. Distributed by Paramount Pictures, DORA: Magic Mermaid Adventures will screen in over 3100 theatres across 17 countries, beginning Thursday, Sept. 18.

DORA: Magic Mermaid Adventures, Dora and Boots turn into mermaids after playing a magical charango, and go on a series of mer-mazing underwater adventures with their new friends, Marisol the Mermaid and her dolphin bestie Rosa. In the bonus episode, “Dora’s Birthday Surprise,” Dora and Boots must find her lost birthday cake.
Continuing the fun outside of the cinema, is the Dora’s Mermaid Adventures companion podcast (10 episodes), launching Monday, Sept. 15 globally, wherever listeners get their podcasts. Fans can join Mermaid Dora and Mer-monkey Boots on a fin-tastical musical adventure, as they tour across the Sirena Sea with their band, Todos Juntos—encountering unexpected missions along the way. An accompanying Dora’s Mermaid Adventures YouTube series, based on the podcast, will be also available beginning Wednesday, Sept. 17, on the Dora & Friends channel.
