(August 12, 2025) Clover Press and Marvel are collaborating for The Marvel Art Of… books, a series of high-end, boutique artbooks that showcase legendary Marvel Comics artists, featuring iconic images alongside rare and never-before-seen artwork. The eighth book in the stunning series will be THE MARVEL ART OF MIKE DEL MUNDO, a high-end coffee table book, portfolio, and prints that celebrate the career of the renowned comic book artist. Mike Del Mundo is known for his vivid colors, creative storytelling and concept-driven covers that bring some of the most iconic Marvel characters to life. Bursting on the scene with his breakthrough cover run on X-Men Legacy, Del Mundo went on to do interior work on Elektra, Thor, Avengers, and numerous other classic Marvel heroes. Decorated with many prestigious awards and nominations for his art, Del Mundo continues to leave an indelible mark on the industry, pushing artistic boundaries and redefining visual storytelling. The Kickstarter campaign is now live.
“I’ve always been a Marvel kid,” said Del Mundo. “I still remember the thrill of landing my very first gig with Marvel and then sprinting to the shop that unforgettable Wednesday to see it on the shelves. That moment meant everything to me. Fast forward 15 years, and somehow I’m still here, doing what I love, with a whole body of work about to be collected in a beautiful hardcover. It honestly feels surreal. 12-year-old me would be doing backflips right now!”
The Marvel Art of Mike Del Mundo collects Del Mundo’s innovative art from Marvel titles like X-Men, Avengers, Deadpool, Thor, Elektra, Spider-Man and more in a 224-page 9″ x 12″ high end coffee table book. The campaign will also feature 11″ x 17″ prints, posters, stickers, a puzzle, signed books, original sketches and more. The Marvel Art Of… series debuted in 2023 with The Marvel Art of David Mack and The Marvel Art of Alex Maleev, followed by stunning art books for Michael Allred, Russell Dauterman, Tyler Kirkham, David Nakayama, and Michael Turner.
