We were able to watch the first season of City on Fire and I have to say WOW! I was very intrigued from those first 5 minutes of the episode. When you see a young woman on the floor with a shot to the head and then a person that could be a suspect run away, you then become invested on why this happened to this young lady. Then you learn that City on Fire timeline is around 2003 and notice all the retro memories of being in 2003 is nostalgic. You will discover one of the main characters named Charlie and the situation that happened to him on 9/11 that caused a stir in his life. He then meets Samantha who changes everything about him and even helps her eventually as well. A world wind of stories come out of between Charlie and Samantha that sets up the rest of the characters in City on Fire.
I don’t want to spoil too much of this show but you have to watch it. I didn’t expect to get so invested not only in the show but the characters as well. There is so much stories of each character that slowly unravel and showcases to you, the viewer, a complex situation that blends everyone together in a spider web.
