Formed in Isabela, Puerto Rico, Chuwi is a quartet of siblings Lorén, Willy, and Wester Aldarondo, joined by family friend Adrián López, who are redefining the island’s contemporary soundscape with a fusion of plena, bomba, and modern Caribbean rhythms. Known for their emotional lyricism and rich musicality, Chuwi has captivated audiences both locally and internationally. Their breakout moment came with Bad Bunny’s collaboration “WELTiTA,” featured on his album DtMF and performed during his No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency, propelling Chuwi onto the global stage. Following that success, the group embarked on their first-ever U.S. headlining tour in 2025, which sold out entirely.
