BOSTON — Jan. 27, 2026 — Rightfully, Beary Arms, the pawsome bullet-hell roguelite from developer Daylight Basement Studio, blasts zany baddies into oblivion with its 1.0 launch on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as Xbox Series X|S today. Beary will sharpen his claws for a release on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in 2026.
Turn waves of imaginative creatures into space dust as Beary, the galaxy’s cutest and deadliest teddy. Live, die, and repeat the cycle in new ways with the 1.0 launch, which includes new narrative beats, weapons, outfits, and a formidable final boss that unlocks the true ending.
Embark on an intergalactic mission of serious paw-portions, taking out no good Boo Bees and Battery Boys in increasingly challenging skirmishes. Transform Catling Guns and FoamBalls into weapons of mass bear-struction with powerful modifiers. Conclude each level by choosing from a selection of player-influenced loot drops. Be wary though, as bonuses can either benefit Beary or grant his foes an upper hand.
Live, die, and repeat the cycle run after run. In between runs, catch up with Beary’s foxy pal Paul Stapleton (yes, he’s an actual fox) to get some helpful pointers. Assemble a wardrobe of sweet outfits and gather tidbits of lore, all while rocking out to a retro chip tune soundtrack.
“Rightfully, Beary Arms’ offers a fun, light hearted, and action-packed experience that roguelite enjoyers and general bear-thusiasts will love to sink their teeth into,” said Chris Bischke, Co-Founder of Daylight Basement Studio. “It’s through our team’s commitment and passion, as well as our fans’ thoughtful feedback, that we are able to welcome Beary to 1.0 today, and plan for additional console releases later this year!”
Rightfully, Beary Arms enters 1.0 today on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Xbox Series X|S. The PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One versions will launch at a later date.
