We were able to get a review sample of Alien: The Role Playing Game Starter Set Hope’s Last Day Edition. I was able to do an unboxing video below of what you get with this edition. My friends and I were able to sit down and try out the RPG. I was thinking since its a starter it was going to be a good introduction. This is actually the new Evolved Edition where a lot of this is upgraded from a previous edition. The items you get in this edition are really good. I enjoyed the quality of items such as the maps, cards, and the engraved dice! Those are sick!! This edition came with rules and also characters that were already created. We started off with them as it should give us the basic understanding of the game. We got into Hope’s Last Day as it was part of this edition. I’m not going to spoil this at all, I know this is an upgrade from a previous edition. I want to say this was very scary and exciting! I had to take a double dose of my blood pressure medicine as it got pretty intense. I’m a huge fan of the earlier movies of Alien and this gave my friends and I an insight of what happened to that colony. There is a lot of story and dialog in this edition, but this gave the lore an exciting run. Run… I mean for our characters cause those Xenomorphs are scary haha! This edition is a must for not only a fan of RPG’s but also a fan of the Alien series. This is a huge collector’s item!

- Hopes Last Stand
- Pretty dark and required some thinking of out running and out gunning them. We had some thoughts of what we should do and did well.
- Panic Responses
- I like that as sometimes I don’t think when I panic but with this, gives me details to do when I do panic when something happens.
- High Quality Maps
- The maps felt so good in my hands and was able to read them well. I didn’t have to squint to see certain things on the map as it was perfect size for me.
