Los Angeles, CA — Oct. 14, 2025 — Acclaim, Inc., the legendary video game publisher known for shaping video game culture in the 1990s, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tiago Teixeira Correia to its Advisory Board. A veteran executive with over 16 years of experience in the realms of media, entertainment, and technology, Tiago brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the revived brand, which relaunched with a bold new vision in March.
Correia is currently a Venture Partner at Griffin Gaming Partners, one of the world’s leading gaming-focused investment firms, an advisor at FOV Ventures, a frontier tech fund, and the managing director of TTC Ventures, his own investment and deal advisory firm focused in media and entertainment. Most recently, he served as CEO of Transcend, a private equity-backed transmedia studio based in London. With a master’s degree from London Business School, his career has spanned blue-chip companies including Amazon and CNN, and he has delivered projects for major clients such as Apple, Google, NBCUniversal, Sky, and Spotify.
Correia’s most public-facing role was at Warner Music Group, where he led the company’s early forays into gaming, AI, decentralization, digital self identity and virtual merchandising. He was an early pioneer in the UGC space where he executive produced projects with Roblox, Epic Games, and The Sandbox, and spearheaded strategic investments into innovative companies such as Dapper Labs, Overwolf, Anything World, and Move.ai, where he later served as VP of Growth.
Representative of his work across the transmedia landscape, Tiago has been inducted as a member of BAFTA, The Recording Academy, and the Royal Television Society.
Tiago Correia joins fellow advisory board members Russell Binder, Eric Vogel, Phil Toronto, Mark Caplan, and professional wrestler Jeff Jarrett in helping guide Acclaim’s future as it aims to honor the brand’s historic legacy while providing unforgettable new titles from a worldwide stable of passionate indie developers.
Commenting on his new role, Correia said:
“No matter who you were, if you were playing games in the 90s, you knew of Acclaim! Today, I’m joining Acclaim to bring back that distinctive vibe of the early gaming days. It warms me up to be part of this project that I know will show the utmost respect for the fans it still holds to this day. And I’ll be right here, helping bring my experience from across the media and entertainment landscape to make sure this brand soars again.”
“Tiago is an amazing addition to the already impressive advisory board at Acclaim,” said Alex Josef, CEO. “He brings a wealth of experience as well as some incredible industry connections that are already proving invaluable, and I couldn’t be more happy to have him joining the team.”
