In celebration of the highly anticipated release of “Predator: Badlands,” 20th Century Studios hosted a star-studded premiere at London’s BFI IMAX with stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi in attendance alongside director Dan Trachtenberg and producer Ben Rosenblatt. Additionally, cast and filmmakers also made an appearance at a hosted panel during MCM Comic Con over the weekend. In North America, fans in New York, Los Angeles and Mexico City were treated to advance IMAX screenings on Monday evening.
Earlier today, 20th Century Studios also released an all-new featurette highlighting the return of Weyland-Yutani’s role within the Predator Universe. The newest franchise-expanding entry to the Predator Universe is the first “Predator” film to debut on the big screen since 2018.
Set in the future on a deadly remote planet, “Badlands” follows a young Predator outcast (played by newcomer Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) who finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Elle Fanning) as he embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary. Produced by John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt and Brent O’Connor, “Predator: Badlands” opens exclusively in movie theaters on November 7 in IMAX, Dolby Cinema, RealD (3D), Cinemark XD, 4DX, ScreenX and premium screens everywhere.
